Maker Faire + Wynwood Graffiti

Tuesday, May 13, 2014

Delia and I visited the first Miami MINI Maker Faire and then decided to take a couple shots afterwards with the graffiti in Wynwood. Visiting the MakerFaire was definitely a cool experience after seeing the fairs they have held in other cities like New York. We got to see both fellow FIU students creating intricate 3D printed accessories at slow crafts like handmade books. As usual (at least in Miami), the fair was accompanied by some delicious food trucks, including my favorite food truck (read: bicycle), Popsicleta.

The following mural is by Molly Rose Freeman [@mollyrosefree]. The superimposition of my black and white outfit on the technicolor background creates a stark contrast.

I’m wearing a Forever21 netted tank top and Spotted Geo Harem Pants, a Guess MotoJacket, and Aldo flats.

This piece is by Vhils and is right behind Lab Miami.
