So far in the process of watching all the CreativeMornings/Miami talks, I’ve learned that creative people do not simply make to make; They make to influence and inspire people, to create change and progress.

Ebony Mukasa is the CEO of CLOAK Apparel, Inc. and was CreativeMornings/Miami’s “Sex” speaker. The talk began with a grand entrance where Ebony appeared wearing one of her designs from her new social awareness campaign. The goal of her campaign is to raise awareness of an incredibly important cause: sex trafficking.

Sex trafficking is a serious issue that is coming to light in our city; Miami has been called a hub for human trafficking. Cloak’s new theme is “Save Sex.” “Sex” is the alias of any girl, no matter race or age, who has lost her identity in the world of sex trafficking. Ebony aims to teach people that they can make a difference, they can make a change despite their talents or means. Watch the talk to learn about ways that you can help bring awareness and help the victims of sex trafficking.

“If you’re not willing to share yourself, not willing to share your talents, you’re not willing to share your talents, you’re not going to go very far.”
