This subtractive spatial installation was created by Snarkitecture for COS. 100,000 metres of translucent white ribbon were cut and trimmed to sculpt this space. As you walk through, the path expands and recedes, leading you through to a room housing COS’s breezy summer collection. Despite the space’s cave-like quality, you do not feel restricted or trapped; on the contrary, the soft and flowy tendrils gently sway from the breeze you create as you walk past them. This installation gets extra points for being a calm and quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of the lively Brera district. In here, with no view to the outside world, you can imagine you are amongst the clouds.
