The 10 Dirham (~ 1 Euro) ticket price is sooo worth the beauty of this palace… Right near the edge of the medina you’ll find Bahia Palace, another oasis within this hectic city. Well, an oasis in a sense, because where there’s beautiful architecture and shade from the sun, you’ll find a whole lot of tourists. (And cats.) I would highly suggest you visit early in the morning to avoid the crowds and have a chance to truly enjoy the beautiful spaces and intricate details! The delicately painted ceilings and shutters were my favorite details along with the accentuated archways. As you walk from courtyard to courtyard, you’ll also experience beautifully tiled floors, fountains, and gardens with full grown orange trees. There are plenty of places to sit, so if you do visit later in the day you can rest your legs in the shade while admiring the beautiful architecture.
